Mac started his first round of chemo today. It was started at 4:30 pm and will run for 24 hrs. The usual side effects of nausea, vomiting, and mouth sores are expected. So far he is doing well and we have our fingers crossed this will continue over the next 20 hrs.
God Bless little man. Let the healing begin. Go Mac Attack! You will do great, we are praying for you. Hang n there Momma, Dad, and Liam. Today my Liam fell outside on the pavement at the YMCA. I turned around and he was trying to get up and by the time I got to him he was up by himself. I said "Wow you surprised me, I didn't expect that." And he said, "ya mom, well I did. Kids never give up" and when we reached the car he said, "you know mom, all kids know never give up". This is the beginning of some ups and downs but the reward of a big up when all is said and done. Love you guys! Good job Mac!
